The mountaintop Devils Knob Golf Course is, well, a cool place that is fun to play. As the highest golf course in Virginia (elevation 3,850 feet), guests know they can escape the summer heat at Devils Knob (average temperature around 76 degrees). The golf staff of Wintergreen Resort will manage year-round programs for boys and girls, ages 12 and older, at Stoney Creek’s expansive practice facility and also provide on-course instruction on the Rees Jones championship design.
