In conjunction with the PGA of America, we are offering this program to our Members to help grow the game of golf. We're asking our Members to commit to play five additional round of golf this year. It's a program you’re sure to enjoy.
Member-Guest Quest
As a member when you bring a group to the resort, you’ll receive benefits in addition to sharing our championship courses with your friends. For every 40 rounds of golf that your group plays, you as the Member will receive four complimentary rounds. Example: Bring 10 friends to the resort and play found days equaling 40 rounds and you as the host will receive 4 free rounds.
All groups will be organized with personalized cart signs, scorecard, welcome rules/tournament sheet and any other course games. If interested, please call our tournament coordinator, Eric Woodward at 434-325-8514 or email ewoodward@wintergreenresort.com.
Play With The Pros
Join us at Stoney Creek at 5pm every Friday throughout the 2009 season (starting April 3), this program allows each player to establish a 9 hole "quota" or handicap based off 18 total gross points. Each hole is worth a possible 5 points. 5 points for eagle, 3 points for birdie, 2 points for par, 1 point for bogey and 0 points for double bogey or worse. At the conclusion of the 9 holes the points are totaled and depending on the size of the field players prizes will be distributed.
This is a great opportunity to play with the professional staff. Money and Prizes will be distributed to the players beating their quota by the largest margin. This game is open to all ages and skill levels, Members, Guests, Resort Guests, and Day visitors.

"Fronker's Fittings"
Wintergreen Golf Academy is proud to announce "Fronker's Fittings" a Professional Custom Fitting Sessions most Saturdays with Wintergreen Golf Academy Instructor Shaun Fronk, PGA. These interactive technological based sessions include the latest Callaway Opti-Fit Technology coupled with the state of the art Model Golf computer measurements to produce your most accurate assessment of your equipment needs. Fronker's Fittings will operate from 9am-1pm on the selected Saturdays. Shaun Fronk will match Edwin Watts pricing on all Callaway products - your fitting is FREE!.
Learn & Play
Offered daily, this combo program offers a lesson in the morning and a round of golf in the afternoon. You'll start at 10AM with a 90 minute lesson on the full swing and a short game shot followed by a summary. Break for lunch, then play a round of golf in the afternoon.

Ace in the Hole
You can be the Wintergreen Par 3 Ace in the Hole! Here's how it works: Record your individual scores on every par three throughout the round. Following play, turn in your scorecard and staff will determine winners of the gross and net divisions. The prize will be a merchandise gift certificate to be used at either Wintergreen Golf Pro Shops.
