4th of July Jubilee 

It’s a birthday party and we’re celebrating the red, white and blue! We’ll have music, a block party, movie under the stars, chairlift rides, games for the entire family and of course, FIREWORKS! See the mountain light up on Friday, July 4th. Craft fair will take place Friday-Sunday.

Each summer Wintergreen Performing Arts presents the Wintergreen Summer Music Festival and Academy. This summer’s theme is Amazonas.

Summer Nature Camp: Camp Mockingjay

Can’t get enough Katniss and Peeta? Join The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen and practice your survival skills. Learn to build a fire, find shelter, collect water, and take your best shot at Wintergreen’s archery range! Ages 8 and up. Sign up for EITHER Wednesday OR Saturday. Be sure to bring snacks, plenty of water, and lunch. Register in advance. $55/Member, $65/Non-Member (cost includes the price of an hour long archery session at the resort). The 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Wilderness Act of 1964

Join The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen and Virginia Master Naturalist, Bette Dzamba, for coffee and cake as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act of 1964. By designating “wilderness area” – land “untrammeled by man” – the Wilderness Act established a National Wilderness Preservation System to ensure the preservation of land in its natural condition. Dzamba will discuss the Wilderness Act of 1964, providing a comprehensive overview of the administration and provisions of the act.
