 Jacquie Bayer - International Recruiter
Jacquie, our newest addition to the human resources team, just received her Communications degree from the University of Pittsburgh. During her college years, she lived in Brazil as an exchange student, as well as worked as a volunteer for The Humane Society, Ronald McDonald House, and other worthy organizations. In addition, she was a camp counselor, head swim instructor, dance ensemble choreographer, bartender and server, and the president of an international women's fraternity. Jacquie's fluency in Portuguese and growing command of Spanish, her passion for other cultures, her ability to connect with people, and her strong work ethic are some of the many attributes she brings to this important role with Wintergreen.

 Ashleigh Toms - Domestic Recruiter
When it comes to matching candidates with the right opportunities at the resort, Ashleigh is a pro. Her expert interviewing skills, her knack for reading people, and her general knowledge of the various job responsibilities make her one of our secret weapons in helping us build a high performing organization. One of the reasons Ashleigh loves working here is that part of her “job” involves checking out the slope conditions just in case one of our candidates asks about snowboarding on the mountain.

 Kathie Johnson, PHR - Benefits Manager
Kathie, Wintergreen’s Benefits Manager, has a wide range of talent, energy, and difficult work that she performs from her off-site home office. While she may not be physically here, her presence is felt at all times of day (and night), and she is accessible to all associates by email or telephone. She is a benefits expert, and a tremendously valuable resource to all of us on a daily basis. By the way, Kathie has a sixth sense when it comes to resolving complex issues, and we consider her our resident expert on all things too complicated for mere mortals to fathom.

 Mark Maynard, SPHR - Vice President of Human Resources
The leader of our team and all around “cool guy,” Mark uses an even distribution of common sense and expertise to manage our Human Resources department. His door is always open to employees, members, visitors and guests. When he’s out of the office, you may have to look on the slopes, in the Outer Banks, or on-stage to catch him when he’s not working! And don’t let the colorful shirt fool you, he’s a sharp dresser (that’s what we tell him anyway).
