Wintergreen strives to be on the forefront of the rental market by offering high quality easy to use rental equipment. To that end we have partnered with Head Sports to make Wintergreen the signature Head rental shop in the southeast. New additions and upgrades for 2009-2010 include a complete replacement of all adult and junior snowboards, boots and bindings and a new fleet of junior alpine skis, boots and bindings.
With the latest in technology and fitting techniques, the partnership with Head has enabled us to reduce equipment set-up time and allow more time on the slopes.
Our rental shop is now paperless and rentals are processed electronically. Pre-registering online for rentals is free and puts you on the snow faster! Click below to pre-register.
Prices include skis , boots and poles and snowboard rental includes snowboard and boots.
All ski/snowboard equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis for daily or overnight guests. Guests can pick up rentals for the next day starting at 5pm the night before.
With a Ski & Ride Season Pass for lifts, you can also get a season pass for equipment rentals.

Q Since I have my own ski boots, can I rent skis only?
A Yes, in this case all posted rates are 25% off and poles are still included.
Q Since I have my own skis or ski-blades, can I rent ski boots only?
A No, this is due to the liability that is involved with setting someone else’s ski bindings.
Q Can I rent just a set of poles?
A Yes, pole rentals are available for $5 per day.
Q Since I have my own snowboard boots, can I rent just a snowboard?
A Yes, in this case all posted rates are 25% off.
Q Do you take reservations for equipment?
A No, all rentals are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
