A native of Charlottesville, Brian grew up learning how to ski at Wintergreen and in 1977, he became one of the first junior ski instructors at Wintergreen. That was a proud moment and he even still has his 1977 Wintergreen employee ID - ask him about it!
After attending local schools, Brian graduated from Middlesex School in New England and Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. His business career then took him to Texas until he had the opportunity to return home to Charlottesville in 1990 to attend the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business Administration…

Kim Chappell is a graduate from the Realtor Institute (GRI) and is an Associate Broker with Wintergreen Resort Premier Properties, the official real estate office of Wintergreen Resort.
Kim is also an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) with the National Association of Realtors. To obtain this designation, Kim focused on education for eBuyers and contract negotiation.
In 2007, Kim Chappell won the Roy Wheeler/Wintergreen Resort Premier Properties Outstanding Marketing Award and then in 2008, Kim won the Outstanding Achievement Award for Top Producer in Sales.

After graduation from Columbia I became a Marine Officer flying missions in Viet Nam as a helicopter gunship pilot. My working years were spent commuting from Long Island NY to midtown Manhattan. Raising four children and balancing an often undoable work load taught me organization, endurance and, sometimes, patience. As an RN,MSN I found myself in the middle of a mass transitional period in our challenging Health Care system. After 30 years of nursing, I learned how to listen, identify needs and assess problem situations requiring creative solutions. Now with over 3 years in RE these same skills have been successfully translated to meet individual needs in this very difficult market. My husband and I have lived in Stoney Creek for almost twelve years now and would be honored to share our discoveries of Wintergreen and our fascinating county as well.
