7:00pm – 9:00pm Winter Lecture Series – Invasive Species: “Managing Invasive Species in the Landscape” Join us for the final winter lecture installment featuring Landscape Architect John James, who will shed light on the importance of cultivating native plants. Gain insights into the reasons behind growing native plants and acquire knowledge on how to contribute to the eradication of invasive species, with a particular focus on the Wintergreen community and Nelson County. 10:00am – 12:00pm Drop-In Tennis Drop-In Tennis Doubles is a popular, well-attended event and a great way to meet other tennis players in our community. Come join the fun! 12:00pm Ribs and Jibs Terrain Park Rail Jam: Wintergreen Resort presents its third annual Winter Freestyle Ski and Board Event, Ribs and Jibs. Every year this event becomes bigger and better, competitors and tricks included! We have space for registration and awards, and great sponsors supplying cool prizes and raffle giveaways! As a competitor or spectator, this fun, action packed event is full of exciting moves that will get you inspired for the season ahead. Register Here

12:00pm Red, White and Blue Scavenger Hunt: Join us as we hunt for red and blue on the snow-white ski slopes! Red and blue stars along with patriotic rubber ducks will be hidden around the Blue Ridge Terrace, Treehouse Playground and Dobie ski slopes. Bring your stars or ducks to the Mountain Inn Front Desk to receive a complimentary patriotic coloring book!

12:00pm – 2:00pm Open Play Pickleball: Wintergreen’s Pickleball Open Play is made for anyone eager to meet other players, play competitive matches, and have fun. Open play is a great way to get the skills and reps you need to take your game to another level quickly. Players of all levels are welcome. Open to Resort guests and Wintergreen Club Members.

12:00pm – 4:00pm Toddler Romp Room: Join us in the Summit Room as it is transformed into a Toddler Romp Room. Appropriate for ages 2 – 4.

1:00pm Living with Nature Hike: Join a Foundation Naturalist for an interpretive hike. Explore Wintergreen’s natural environment during the exhilarating month of January! These hikes are rated moderate. Payment is due at time of registration.

3:00pm – 6:00pm Live Music at The Edge – Brent Hull: Brent Andrew Hull is an Augusta County native that has been performing regionally for the past 25 plus years either solo, duo or in the full band, “Maybe Tomorrow”. Hull plays a wide variety including: country, pop, rock, hip-hop, and original songs and no two shows are the same. He is famous for his “mash ups” that manage to mix songs that you would not think went together.

3:00pm – 6:00pm Live Music at The Edge – Travis Elliot: Travis Elliott is a touring musician who regularly plays across Virginia, primarily in his hometown of Richmond and his current home of Charlottesville. As a singer/songwriter/guitarist, his music has been described as alternative pop, punky with hints of Americana, and most of all, incredibly catchy. 434-325-8080

8:00pm – 11:00pm Live Music at the Edge – Jacob and the Flood: “Appalachian Red Dirt,” That’s how Jacob Paul Allen describes his style of Country Music. It leans more on the Traditional side, influenced by the sounds of 90’s Country mixed with some Texas/Red-Dirt/Americana and Roots music.
