Camp Wintergreen

Play, learn, and grow together.

The Treehouse Facility is now home to Camp Wintergreen for campers ages 5 to 12 years old. We will focus on different weekly themes to enlighten, engage and entertain each camper.
Camps are offered Monday-Friday, June 21st through August 13th. Drop off is between 8:30am and 9:00am, with pick up at 4:00pm. Every afternoon will be spent either swimming at the Aquatics and Fitness Center or at Lake Monocan.

During the winter, the Treehouse offers kids ski and ride programs.

Indoor, Outdoor & Lake Swimming

No Virginia family vacation is complete without some swimming. The Aquatics & Fitness Center has an indoor pool open year round and an outdoor pool open Memorial Weekend through Labor Day. Down in the valley, your options include the Stoney Creek Pool or Lake Monocan. The lake offers a sandy beach and a wide range of activities both in the water and on the shore.

Hiking

This Virginia family resort has 30 miles of hiking trails from an easy stroll to a difficult mountain hike. Hiking Guides are available for $3 at the Front Desk, Discovery Ridge Adventure Center or by stopping by The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen.We also offer a free flyer with the Top Three Hikes at Wintergreen. Hikes with a naturalist are offered by the Nature Foundation on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Favorite hikes include The Plunge, Shamokin Falls and Paul's Water Creek.
