The Aquatics & Fitness Center is only open to Registered Wintergreen Resort Guests, Wintergreen "All Resort" Primary Members, Wintergreen "All Resort" Extended Family Members and Wintergreen "All Resort" Guests of Members. Must be 16 years or older to access the Fitness Center. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.

No Virginia family vacation is complete without some swimming. The Aquatics & Fitness Center has an indoor pool open year round and an outdoor pool open Memorial Weekend through Labor Day. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. Down in the valley, your options include the Stoney Creek Pool or Lake Monocan (check hours of operation on The Wintergreen Weekly). The lake offers a sandy beach and a wide range of activities both in the water and on the shore.

All-Levels Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Laura Thibault, RYT 200
Fridays at 10am, Saturdays at 10am
Catering to both beginners and experienced yogis, this hour-long class provides an invigorating and gentle workout for your mind, body, and soul. All classes offer guided breath work, hands on assists, and aromatherapy elements, allowing students to connect fully to the present moment through all senses. Classes also include sun salutations, balancing poses, and the opportunity to practice inversions. Props including mats, blocks, and yoga chairs are available and options to modify postures that might be inaccessible to some are always provided.
Gentle Yoga with Laura Thibault, RYT 200 and Carolyn Felling, E-RYT 200
Fridays at 12pm
Gentle yoga is essentially what it sounds like—a gentler style of hatha yoga practice. It is performed at a slower pace, with less intense positions, and usually includes extended time for meditation, breathe work and relaxation. Chair yoga is available, a gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and/or with the aid of a chair. It is also a great form of yoga for beginners or anyone who wants to focus on a gentle practice.
Laura Thibault is an RYT-200 Hour certified Yoga teacher with additional training and certifications in Postpartum Yoga. Laura specializes in Vinyasa Flow Yoga and loves the power of mindful movement and connecting with your breath and body. A mom of two, Laura loves working with other mamas. She has been practicing yoga since 2002, and teaching since 2017.
Carolyn Felling is a Hatha Yoga certified instructor E-RYT 200 (with over 1,000 hours of teaching). She has received training in Iyengar Yoga and Vinyasa Flow and has taught since 2005. She has a passion for teaching and wanting to educate and inspire others.
