Presidents Day Weekend

A long weekend to take advantage of great skiing, riding and tubing! Some of our best conditions are in February - be sure to book your weekend early.

Friday, February 17

The Spa Special for February is offered all month, but perfect for today! Love You Head to Toe This 3 hour spa package starts with a 50 minute Swedish massage designed to sooth sore muscles and relax the body and mind. Our therapists will use exotic scents and oils to help you melt away the day leaving you thoroughly refreshed.  Next, it’s time to indulge yourself with our 50 minute Sweet Cheeks Organic Facial. Our estheticians will cleanse, exfoliate and tone before applying Eminence’s Chocolate Mousse Hydrating Mask. Finish with RoseHip Triple C & E firming oil and appropriate sunscreen – you will leave glowing and relaxed.  Finally, the 50 Minute Sweet Treat-Ment Pedi. This service starts with a Chocolate/Honey sugar scrub then luxurious Rose Hip soak while feet and legs are gently massaged. Toes are polished and painted and marshmallow shea butter applied leaving skin soft and supple. (Alpine Peppermint Pedicure may be substituted if desired.) With this package you will receive a complimentary Chocolate Martini, Champagne or Mimosa along with full access to the Fitness Center, Indoor Pool & Hot Tubs for the day.

Saturday, February 18

10:00am – 11:00am Vinyasa Yoga (Aquatics & Fitness Center, ext.8562) Catering to both beginners and experienced yogis, this hour-long class provides an invigorating and gentle workout for your mind, body, and soul. Call 434-325-8280 to reserve your spot! 

11:00am – 12:00pm Romp and Sip (The Summit Room) Join other young vacationers and families as they enjoy our indoor playground! Suited for children ages 3 – 5. Snacks, beverages and adult libations available for purchase.

11:00am – 3:00pm DJ on the BRT! (Blue Ridge Terrace) Join us as we jam to some sweet tunes on the Blue Ridge Terrace! Grab a drink or a snack from the Coppermine or Upper Crust and dance those lunch time blues away!

12:00pm - 6:00pm Ribs and Jibs (Terrain Park) Wintergreen Resort presents its second annual Winter Freestyle Festival Ski and Board Event. Participants will compete in age brackets for medals, prizes, and bragging rights with (1st-3rd) Medals. Click here for more information or to sign up!

12:00pm – 2:00pm Tennis Doubles (Devils Knob Racquet Sports, ext. 8345) aturday afternoon from 12:00pm - 2:00pm, $10 per player. Players of all levels welcome. 10 person max. Must sign up ahead of time.

1:00pm – 3:00pm Living With Nature Hike Join a Foundation Naturalist for an interpretive hike. Explore Wintergreen’s natural environment during the exhilarating month of February. These hikes are rated moderate. Payment is due at time of registration. FREE/Member, $8/Non-Member

3:00pm – 6:00pm Live Music: Conley Ray Jones (The Edge, 8080) A local favorite, performing classic country and rambunctious rockabilly renditions!

10:00am – 2:00pm NASTAR Racing (Eagles Swoop) Join us on Eagles Swoop as we race down Eagles Swoop! The daily cost is $20, exact cash only, payable at the NASTAR Shack at the top of the course. You must have a NASTAR id number to race. You must have this number before you come up to the course to run. You can check your number from last year or register and create your number at NASTAR.com. While you’re here visit the presidential homes of Thomas Jefferson (Monticello and Poplar Forest), James Madison (Ashlawn Highlands), James Monroe (Montpelier) and Woodrow Wilson’s Presidential Library in Staunton.
