The Treehouse features the Kids in Action summer childcare program offered Memorial Day Weekend, Monday through Saturday from June 10 through August 17, and Labor Day Weekend.

The Treehouse will be closed August 8.

Please note: During the Holiday weekends, Memorial (5/25 & 5/26), Fourth of JulyJubilee (July 4)  and Labor Day Weekends (8/31 & 9/1), the Treehouse will operate from 9 am-12:30 pm. Please pack a lunch if you would like your child to eat prior to pickup.

The front desk has a list of babysitters should you need child care during hours The Treehouse is closed.

The program features a variety of activities and fun each day, as outlined below. 

• Children ages  2½-12 will explore nature on easy-intermediate hikes and nature walks depending on the age and ability level of the group (we may separate the group to best serve the age/ability levels of each child). Children will play indoors and outdoors throughout different parts of the day. Indoor activities include arts and crafts, story time, group games, spending time on playground, hiking, Frisbee, hula-hooping, sidewalk chalk art, football, jump rope and kickball.
• If your child requires a nap, please speak to one of our childcare counselors during drop off. They will be moved to a quiet room inside the Treehouse following lunch. If they are not asleep within 30 minutes, they will be able to return to the rest of the group. Sheets and mats are provided. 
  
• The Treehouse no longer provides lunch, so full day children must pack their own lunches. Please remember we are a nut-free facility, so absolutely no peanut butter or nut products! Snacks are still provided.
• Saturdays must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. There is no guarantee for walk-in availability.

Monday	Discovery Ridge Adventure Center	Climbing wall, bungee trampoline, mini golf, air hockey, video games, pool tables, foosball tables, inflatables. Full Day Cost: $78,
Tuesday	Wintergarden Pool	Swimming and other activities. Certified lifeguard on duty, plus Treehouse supervisor and counselors to ensure safety of all children. The Treehouse Manager will drive a 14-passenger mini-bus, with lap belts, from the Mountain Inn Loop to the Aquatics & Fitness Center. If your child requires a booster seat or car seat, please drop it off during morning registration. Full Day Cost: $64.
Wednesday	Lake Monocan	Swimming and other activities. Certified lifeguard on duty, plus Treehouse supervisor and counselors to ensure safety of all children. The Treehouse Manager will drive a 14-passenger mini-bus, with lap belts, from the Mountain Inn Loop to Lake Monocan. If your child requires a booster seat or car seat, please drop it off during morning registration. Full Day Cost: $64.

Friday	Tennis	Tennis lesson with a Wintergreen Resort tennis professional. Full Day Cost: $78. $64 ages 2.5-4. (Tennis for ages 5+)
Saturday	Field Day	A day filled with fun - tie-dye t-shirts, all kinds of lawn games, races, and MORE! Full Day Cost: $54. 9 am-1 pm

All Treehouse programs and activities are subject to change without notice due to weather conditions or participation levels. Please call ahead for confirmation.

  • Monday: $78  (Discovery Ridge Adventure Center)
  • Tuesday: $64 (Aquatics and Fitness Center)
  • Wednesday: $64 (Lake Monocan)
  • Thursday: $78 ages 8+ (Discovery Ridge Adventure Center)
    
  • Friday: $78 ages 5+, $64 ages 2½-4 (Tennis for ages 5+).
    
  • Saturday (9 am-1 pm): $54 (Field Day).
    
• Half Day (9 am-12 pm or 1-4 pm): $49

Book Early & Save: Save $10 off of our full-day program, and $5 off of the half-day program if you book 24 hours in advance!

Arts & Crafts at the Treehouse

Treehouse Registration Information

All Treehouse programs require advance reservations. Please sign up early as programs fill up fast. For information contact the Treehouse Office at 434-325-8179.

1. A credit card number will be needed to process reservations.
2. Please call ahead if your child has special needs, in order for us to provide appropriate care.
3. The Treehouse no longer provides lunch, so please remember to pack your child's lunch. Please also remember we are a nut-free facility, so absolutely no peanut butter or nut products!
4. Saturdays require a 24 hour reservation, as no walk-ins are guaranteed.
5. Cancellation Policy:
   Outside of 48 Hours - Full Refund
   24-48 Hours - 25% Scheduling Fee
   Less than 24 Hours - No Refund
