Chette Nicholas Jr.

Chette Nichols Jr. is a retired missionary and graduate in theology from Liberty University. With over 11 years of full-time Bigfoot research, he combines his amateur anthropology and biology skills with his passion for forest conservation. Nichols integrates his extensive experience and academic background to explore the mysteries of Bigfoot while advocating for environmental preservation.

Daniel Benoit

Daniel J. Benoit, founder and researcher at the East Coast Bigfoot Researchers Organization (E.C.B.R.O.), is a dedicated cryptozoologist with a lifelong passion for wildlife. His fascination with Bigfoot ignited after viewing the Patterson-Gimlin film in 2010, leading him to combine his outdoor knowledge with Bigfoot research. Daniel’s fieldwork across the East Coast has included significant sightings and data collection. He educates the public through lectures, documentaries, and his podcast, ECBRO Bigfoot Radio.

Dr. John Baranchok

John S. Baranchok is a boots-on-the-ground Bigfoot field researcher and the author of Grasping Sasquatch: Prepping for Scientific Field Research. He hosted the 36-episode YouTube/Podcast series Grasping Sasquatch: Stories and Science. With a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and extensive experience in scientific fieldwork, John has participated in over 20 Bigfoot expeditions. He brings a unique blend of science, psychology, and curiosity to his ongoing pursuit of Bigfoot research.

Melissa Adair

Melissa Adair is a seasoned Bigfoot researcher with 19 years of experience. She founded the Bigfoot Chicks blog and Squatch Unlimited, which provide resources and foster community among cryptozoology enthusiasts. Melissa has organized and participated in expeditions across the U.S., appeared on numerous podcasts and TV shows, and curated historical newspaper stories about cryptid encounters. An active off-roader, HAM radio operator, and tracker, she shares her passion for Bigfoot through social media and her online store. Outside the field, Melissa is a musician, business owner, wife, and mother.

Chairlift rides at Bigfoot Fest begin at 11:30 am. Prices are $10 for ages 13+, $5 for ages 6-12, and $5 for resort guests. Children 5 and under ride free. Payment can be made by cash or card. Wintergreen members and 2024-25 season pass holders ride complimentary with valid passes or proof of purchase.
