Wallace Haskins, Head Superintendent, GCSAA

After his 15th year at the resort, Wallace reigns as the resort’s Head Superintendent. While Wallace spends most of his time at Stoney Creek, his leadership of the golf course maintenance team at Devils Knob for 14 years is still felt as he oversees the mountain course.

Well-respected in the local golf community, Wallace’s leadership of two talented golf maintenance teams endears him to all that work under his direction and teaching. Wallace believes that the keys to success are identifying potential turf issues before they arise and examining and understanding what the golfers see daily to ensure that the playing conditions at both of the resort’s courses meet the high standards of the industry as well as his own.
