Devils Knob Raquet Sports Drop-In Tennis Doubles features match-ups that are friendly and informal, but tend to be competitive. Participants should have playing skills that are at the intermediate level to be able to effectively play.  Balls are provided and play is supervised.  We have limited courts in the winter, so players are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The 60-minute Tennis and Tunes clinic drills are set to music, similar to cardio tennis.  This heart pumping, high energy activity is designed for beginner and advanced players.  These drills promote improved stroke production, speed and agility, while keeping your heart rate at an elevated but comfortable level.

The Wintergreen Resort offers two programs Junior Tennis Academies, the All Skills and Ages Program and the Tournament Training Program.  Our goal is to build a strong technical and tactical foundation to grow a player’s game and help provide a pathway for future development, with an emphasis on the proper fundamentals.

Wintergreen Junior Tennis Academy utilizes the proven GreatBase tennis curriculum to help players develop a strong foundation. The GreatBase curriculum was developed by Steve Smith after having studied tennis teaching masters and methodologies for four decades. The Wintergreen staff have a passion for teaching and look forward to assist players taking their game to the next level.

Junior Tennis Academy #4 – August 7th-10th
Level: All skills and Ages – All Skills program is designed for junior tennis players of any skill level and background, ages 8 – 18. Campers will learn fundamentals, strategy, and drills to improve their game.
